Radiant Purple - Pantone's Colour of the Year for 2014

22 Jan 14 By: Lene McGuinness

Pantone decides what is going to be its colour of the year based on researching the latest global trends and culture, films, art collections, travel destinations, technology and global events such as the Olympics.

This year's colour, Radiant Orchid, is suggested to go well with three different colour schemes:  We've put a teaser montage together of our products in the different colour combinations.

The first group sees this radiant orchid blended with chocolate, gray and black - more minimalist or stark tones, and showcases the Anthracite chair and black seatpad together with purple waterglass and chocolate shimmer linen

The second group has more regal tones, radiant orchid with red, lavender and pink - we'd say more regal tones with a soft melt of pink thrown in.  It features the matisse lilac linen, ruby water jug, and William Edwards Fresco china in lavender and lilac (pink hues)

Finally, the third group is the same radiant orchid mixed with olives, deep greens, turquoise, teal and light yellow, and brings with it the freshness of summer.  It shows buttercup and sage matisse linen, together with teal shimmer linen, pastel yellow rimmed plates, gold camelots with forest green seatpads, and purple rimmed plates together with lilac matisse linen napkins.

Whatever colours you choose for your events this year, we're confident we've got the products you need to theme them with style!
