Our latest chair complements the modern setting of the Darwin Centre

Our new phantom chair looks fabulous in the setting of the new £78m Darwin Centre, at the Natural History Museum, which opened in September this year by HRH Prince William and Sir David Attenborough.

The Centre has been christened "the Cocoon" by the architects who designed it.  It has 8 stories, and is the largest sprayed concrete structure in Europe, housing millions of vital plant and insect specimens and over 200 working scientific experts.  It adds to the three existing entertaining spaces (the Central Hall, Earth Hall and Flett Theatre) in the Natural History Museum's repertoire, with a capacity of 50-150 people for dinners and 100-350 for cocktails.  It also comes with access to a private tranquil garden.

The Natural History Museum which has been awarded Silver at the Visit London Awards 2009 for the Business Venue of the Year was praised for its innovation in meetings, conferences and events as well as the continuous development of their offering.

Allens teamed up with Mustard Catering to create this fabulous arrangement featuring our chairs.  Mustard has been a client for over a decade.  It is one of London's premier outside catering establishments and alongside Allens is a regular supplier to the Natural History Museum.
