To hire catering equipment or furniture use the top navigation, search bars, and filter systems to find the products you are looking for, enter the quantities you require, and proceed through to our shopping basket.
Register with Allens catering equipment and furniture hire before you send an order or quote through. Our checkout will calculate all applicable charges and you can then submit an order or a quote. If you are a cash customer placing an order you will be directed to our payment gateway to process your payment. Account customer orders will be processed in the normal way.
Status of your Quote/Order
Once orders and quotes are submitted they are pending until we process them. You will see their status in "Order/Quote" history.
Once processed instead of showing as "Pending Quote" it will show as "Quote", or in case of an order it will change from "Pending Order" to "Awaiting Delivery". Only when processed will you be able to see the full details of your Quote or Order.
When your goods have been delivered (Allens deliver and collect) or collected (Customer collect and return) they will show as "On Hire". Your invoice will show in your invoice history on the day of delivery.
Orders will show "completed" only when we have processed the return of goods and all losses and damages have been dealt with. Further invoices and/or credits will appear in your invoice history if applicable.
Any security deposits will be returned when all the goods are safely returned to our stock.

If for some reason we do not have the goods you have ordered on the dates you require, we will advise you when we send our confirmation with suggested alternatives and liaise with you on how you wish to proceed.
Delivery and Collection
Many customers opt to collect and return the hired catering equipment from our warehouses in West London and Southampton. For larger orders we have a fleet of lorries that cover London and the South daily. Our standard transport charges to deliver and collect vary according to our charging zones - typically for London £37.50 for a delivery or return, and for Southampton £25.00 for a delivery or return. Outside of our charging zones customers will be charged on a mileage basis to our nearest depot.
When quantities don’t meet our minimum order values you can simply pick it up. In order to collect your order you will need two forms of ID, including a utility bill or bank statement and a photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport.
Most clients choose to use our washing service, applicable to the majority of our hired catering equipment, excluding hired linen and furniture rentals.
One of the benefits of catering equipment and furniture hire is that we can do all the washing up for you. All you have to do is remove any heavy food debris and repack catering items in the boxes you received them in. We will do all of the washing up back at Allens Hire HQ.
A cleaning charge will be listed on your invoice if you choose to take up this option. There is no charge for cleaning furniture or linen.
