Mall Galleries | Pure Gold, 50 Years of the FBA

Allens were proud to supply to the Mall Galleries on 8th February for the Preview of the "Pure Gold : 50 Years of the FBA" Exhibition. The Mall Galleries enjoyed its own 40th birthday in the same month and so hosted the exhibition from 9-19 February in a double celebration.
The exhibition carried works from the history of the nine societies making up the FBA including those by artists such as John Singer Sargent, Walter Sickert, and William Orpen on loan from major public and private collections as well as showcasing works by contemporary member artists. We were privileged to be given a copy of the beautiful celebratory publication accompanying the exhibition by Mall Galleries and particularly like the painting by Sir Gerald Festus Kelly (extract shown above), a favourite painter of the Royal Family.
The Mall Galleries is located in John Nash's 1827 Regency Terrace between Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square and provides a prestigious and inspiration venue for exhibitions. The Galleries provides flexible and exclusive event hire with the backdrop of contemporary fine art for up to 200 people for a sit-down meal or up to 500 people for a drinks reception or private view.
