Report from GRA Meeting in New Orleans

Kevin McGuinness flew to New Orleans in February this year to attend the Events and Tents Seminars at the American Rental Association (ARA) Rental Show. He was one of 30 UK delegates from HAE and EHA in New Orleans to visit the Show.  

Kevin, who is now President of the HAE, attended the Global Rental Alliance meeting whose purpose is to increase the profile of equipment rental worldwide and build a global understanding of the industry.

* The GRA is made up of a partnership of rental associations** from around the world that meet and share information on program initiatives bringing about an increased awreness of overall priorities internationally. Worldwide adoption of performance measures, the equipment rental economic outlook, technological trends within the industry, safety and regulatory matters, and the GRA International Rental Business Leadership Program, administered by the ARA Foundation, were among the key issues address at the meeting as well as approving new membership for the Brazilian Rental Association (ALEC)
