The Essential Christmas Party Hire Checklist

Chair hire

No matter what your event is you need to have enough chairs for your guests. If you are hosting a family and friends party at your own house you may need to hire extra chairs to ensure everyone can fit around the table. Hosting a corporate jolly? Then you need to ensure that both the numbers and style stack up. It is always recommended to hire a few more chairs than you need – just in case that person who didn't RSVP turns up. Not sure what chairs to hire? See below for our recommendations:

Glassware hire

One of the main advantages of hiring catering equipment is that you don’t have to do the washing up. No matter which of our glasses you choose all you need to do is put them back in the box they came in and we'll get them sparkling again. At Allens Hire, we have a range of drinks glasses for hire that will work for all your drinks needs such as:

  • Cocktail glasses
  • Crystal wine glasses
  • Wine tasting glasses
  • Vintage inspired glasses for both wine and cocktails
  • Champagne flutes

Bar and bar equipment hire

No Christmas party is complete without a bar. If the venue you have chosen does not have a bar, then you can hire one. We have a number of mobile LED bars that can be customised to a number of shapes and colours. Once you have the bar, you will need bar equipment. Take a look at our bar check list blog for a comprehensive look at what you need for a fully stocked bar.

Tableware hire

If you are hosting a dinner then you need to make sure you have all the tableware and China you need. Take a look at our check list below and make sure you've not missed anything.

  • Canapé trays
  • Plates
  • Side plates
  • Bowls
  • Cups and saucers
  • Cutlery
  • Linen
  • Napkins
  • Tea pots
  • Coffee urns
