Sections of the press are declaring the spring time festival the ‘new Christmas’ and Waitrose has announced that the sale of Easter crackers are up 63%. Carolyn Bailey, homes and garden editor at Good Housekeeping, told The Telegraph, “This year we've seen more people buying gifts and decorations for Easter, including crackers which are normally bought for Christmas, but now Easter is becoming like a second Christmas."

If you are holding an Easter event for children, keeping them entertained can be one of the most challenging things.
