Winner of 2016 Event Equipment Hire Company of the Year at the Hire Awards of Excellence
We are delighted to announce that we have won the 2016 Event Equipment Hire Company of the Year at the Hire Awards of Excellence for a fifth time.
The Hire Awards of Excellence ceremony took place on Saturday 23 April at 8 Northumberland in central London.
The independently judged Hire Awards of Excellence throws a spotlight on the successes of the hirers and suppliers along with incredible individuals who set the standard. These awards are a sought after accolade of the plant, tool, equipment and event hire industries.
This year’s event was hosted by Radio presenter and broadcast journalist Jeremy Vine. When he presented the award to Allens he said:
“Once again this category is won by an entry that was both refreshingly innovative and different from the start and managed to clearly demonstrate commitment to customer and employee alike. It was obvious they had set out to win this award, it was just a superb entry."
We wanted to have an entry that moved on from our last win in 2014 and showed that we have moved on majorly as a business and we are thrilled to be recognised for this.
We were also delighted to receive a Highly Commended award in the Safehire Company of the Year Category, one of the most coveted awards. This category takes into account health, safety and wellbeing of both the workforce and the users of hire equipment.
A large number of much bigger companies in the wider hire market receive SafeHire accreditations from the Hire Association and each is entered into the competition, so the award represents a significant milestone for Allens, a catering equipment and furniture hire specialist serving London and the South of England.
