Winner of 2018 Website of the Year at the Hire Awards of Excellence

30 Apr 18

We are proud to announce that we have won the 2018 Website of the Year at the HAE EHA Hire Awards of Excellence.

The HAE EHA Hire Awards of Excellence ceremony took place on Saturday 28 April at Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, in Central London.

Every year entries are judged independently to highlight the achievements of hirers and suppliers and individuals driving standards within the industry.

The main criteria for the website award were: ease of use, innovation, and up-to-date information as well as demonstrating use of social media and other marketing collateral to maximise your internet presence.

This year’s event was hosted by journalist, television presenter and Strictly Come Dancing 2009 winner Chris Hollins. When he presented the award, he said:

“This particular category has seen very strong competition this year but the decision was unanimous . . .”

We have worked extremely hard to bring a brand new, full e-commerce website to our customers with tremendous capability and a vastly improved user experience.

Not an ordinary retail business but more complex due to the delivery and return logistics, and the number of adjustments to orders before the event, the overriding business model within the industry has been to have a front end website and backend administrative system, with sales assistants effectively double entering any online orders.  We have now built a system which links the website in real time through to our InspHire Hire system, and that is what leading edge in our industry is.

The key features of our new website are

  • customers are able to receive fully costed quotations and orders
  • the ability to pay if they are not an account customer
  • see the status of all orders and quotations
  • view their full invoice history
  • the ability to build templates
  • reorder or amend quotes and orders.

We are absolutely thrilled our efforts have been recognised through this fantastic award.
