One of the best things about hosting a New Year Eve party is the minimal amount of decorating you need to do, as Christmas decorations still tend to be up. Unless you’re going for a specific theme, all you really need is some balloons and “Happy New Year” garlands.

To get the party going with a bang, why not make up some cocktails for your guests on arrival. If not, make a playlist on Spotify or Soundcloud incorporating chart hits with some old classics such as Michael Jackson and ABBA, to get your guests up and dancing.
